ETS iSCTouch250 Setup

* Some PCs do not have TLS 1.2 enabled (especially Windows 7). Download and run this script to enable TLS 1.2 in the registry.

For clubs using ETS' iSCTouch250 terminals there is no software to install on the POS client computer. This terminal must be IP connected (cannot be USB or Serial connection)

To Configure the Terminal

  1. Plug in the Ethernet cord and plug the terminal into a power outlet to power it up
  2. Reboot the iSC250 Terminal by unplugging and plugging the power back in or by holding down the "-" and yellow "Clear" buttons until the device makes a beep tone, then release the buttons.
  3. Wait while the terminal boots and finished initialization. As soon as the "Retail Base" screen appears, IMMEDIATELY press the following 4-digit key sequence into the number pad: 2, 6, 3, 4, and then hit ENTER.
  4. If the 4-digit key sequence was inputted successfully then a screen showing "Press + for menu" should appear, if not then you will need to reboot and try step 3 again. If it did appear, press the "+" button.
  5. Select "TDA" on the touch screen or 3 on the number pad 
  6. Press 0 on the number pad to enter the Configuration Menu and 0 again to enter the Communication Menu. Press 0 again to enter the Select Communications Type Menu
  7. Press 2 to select Ethernet as the desired communication method and then hit the red "Cancel" button to return to the Communication Menu.
  8. Press 2 to enter the Ethernet Settings Menu and then 0 to enter the Connection Method Menu 
  9. Press 0 to select "Client" as the connection method and then hit the red "Cancel" button to return to the previous screen
  10. Press 1 to enter the DHCP Settings Menu, press 0 to select "Auto" and then hit the red "Cancel" button
  11. Press 2 to enter the Host IP Address Menu and use the number pad to enter the IP address of the computer you are connecting the terminal to (your computer should be set to a static IP Address), Press the "Enter" key to save changes and return to previous screen
  12. Hit the red "Cancel" button 3 times to exit the menus, when asked to Save and Reboot, press 1 for Yes.
  13. Wait for the terminal to reboot and when the "Retail Base" screen appears, verify that the terminal was properly configured by checking the IP address on the last line of the screen. Also take note of the 4 digit port number that appears after the IP address.
  14. When the "Retail Base" screen goes away you should see a blue Emoney screen that also says powered by ETS. If not then the configuration was not successful and you will need to call ETS.
  15. To configure the integration login to the Point of Sale client. Then click on "ADMIN"
  16. Click on the "Payment Terminal" button
  17. Check the box beside "This register has an integrated payment terminal"
  18. From the Terminal Type dropdown choose "ETS" then click the "ETS Config" button at the bottom right of the screen
  19. Merchant Type does not matter
  20. ETS will provide you with the Merchant ID, Merchant Name, Client ID, Master Key, and Terminal ID

  22. Terminal - Select "INGENICO"
  23. Model - Select "iSCTouch" if you have the iSCTouch250 terminal
  24. Comm Method - Select "IP"
  25. Card Reader - choose "None"
  26. IP Address - Put in IP address of this computer (POS Clients that use these terminals must have their IP address set to Static), this IP must match the IP configured on the iSCTouch250 terminal
  27. Port # - should match port number that you saw beside the IP Address on the "Retail Base" screen (default is 6000)
  28. COM Port - Leave blank
  29. Check the box beside "Signature Capture" to indicate that you want the terminal to prompt the user for a signature. (If you do not want the customers to sign on the terminal and would like them to sign on your receipt then you will need to contact ETS and let them know that you do not want the terminal to prompt for signature and then you can uncheck the box beside "Signature Capture")
  30. Click OK and then click "Test Connection"
  31. After 10-20 seconds a successful connection message will appear if the POS is able to connect to the terminal

 

* If you want a terminal to prompt customers for gratuity, you will need to contact ETS and ask them to turn this option on to prompt for gratuity for that terminal
