Voiding a Transaction

There may be times when you need to void a transaction in order to correct a mistake.

Please Note: The ability to access the transaction viewer and void a transaction is a permission within the Point of Sale.

 

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Transaction Viewer
  3. Click on the date to change it if necessary.  

  4. Select the transaction to be voided and click Void

  5. Notice the check mark in the Void Column for the transaction. The voided transaction will remain in your transaction viewer but will not be included in any of your reporting. In order to view a report on voided transactions run the Refund/Void Report which will give you information on the staff member that performed the void and when the void was done. 

Note: By double clicking on the transaction you can add notes for why the transaction was voided.
