Any transaction that took place on the day will be included on the transaction viewer - this includes completed transactions, transactions that have been voided, incomplete transactions, such as held transactions and transactions with negative IDs which is a transaction that has been rung in through table service and the table was cleared and not paid for.   The Transaction Viewer is a useful tool for finding and correcting errors. All transactions are listed and can be sorted by Customer, Staff ID, Register ID, and transaction total by clicking on the column name. You are also able to edit the payment type, edit the customer name, perform refunds, and back date transactions from the Transaction Viewer. Please see the specific pages for information on how to use these functions.   **Permissions**   You can control who can access the transaction viewer and which register's transactions they are able to view. For example, you can set it so that one of your proshop staff can only see the transactions completed on proshop registers. This is done through the staff member's profile under **Register Permissions**. You also have control over who has permission to perform backdated transactions, change the payment type on completed transactions, and who can void or reinstate transactions.
