Tax Exemption

The Point of Sale includes a tax exemption function for clubs that require tax exempt items or transactions.

Enable Tax Exemption

1. Click Admin
2. Click Manage and Upgrade POS
3. Check the box for Enable tax exemption

Using the Tax Exemption

1. Select the items normally.
2. Click More Functions
3. Click Tax Exempt
4. Type in the customer’s name and ID if necessary.  
5. Select the Tax rate from the drop down for each item. Note: The system will default to No Tax. 
6. Click Ok
7. Note: the tax amount has been adjusted. Select the payment type to complete the transaction.
