Staff Messages in the POS
Navigate to Staff Message Setup
- From your Point of Sale, click Admin
- Click Staff
Adding a Staff Message
- Click Add Message
- Choose the message Type. This is where the message will display.
- Type your message into the text field
- The next step is to add a date range. Click Add Date Range.
- If the message is for 1 day then leave the Start Date and End Date the same.
- If you want to repeat the message multiple times then enter your Start Date and End Date and select the days of the week.
- Click Ok
- You will see the Active Dates appear
- Click Ok. Your messages will appear on the list of messages.
- To view messages on a future date, change the date and the messages for that day will appear.
Editing a Staff Message
- Select the message and click Edit Message
- Make changes to your message and click Ok
Deleting a Staff Message
- Select the message and click Delete Message
Marking a Message as Read
- When the message appears select the Mark as read checkbox. This will mark the message as read and it won't pop up anymore (It will pop up again if the message is edited.)
- Click Close
- To view messages that were cleared, on the sales screen, click More Functions
- Click Staff Messages and the message(s) for the current day will display
