Split Payments
Split payments can be used to take payment for a single transaction using different payment types. The most common use for split payments is when a customer is using two different payment types and a different amount is to be applied to both. For example, if they want to apply the remaining balance of a gift card toward a transaction and pay the remainder using a credit card.
The second use for split payments is to divide the amount equally. For example, you may have two customers who want their bill split equally between the two of them. Using split payments you can divide the transaction by whatever number of people you choose.
