Setting up Online Food Ordering
Online Food Ordering Setup (www.teeon.com)
Navigate to Online Food Orders
- From your teeon.com online account, click Administration
- Click Online Food Orders. If you don't see online food orders give us a call. This button will need to be turned on for you.
Online Food Order Settings
Most of the settings for the Food on Course online food ordering application are configured in the Tee-On Point of Sale. Here you can enable/disable the application, configure the Moneris integration for accepting online payments set the application colours and download a QR code for inclusion in printed/electronic materials.
- Check off the Online Food Ordering Enabled box to enable Online Food Ordering. This button will turn food ordering on or off.
- If you are restricting online food ordering to members online then check off the box beside Restrict Online Food Ordering to Members Only.
Online Payment Setup
- If you are using Moneris (Canada Only) as your payment provider, click Moneris Integration Settings
- You can copy the settings from the other places you have it set up already by clicking Copy From and then selecting another place where you have already set it up.
- Enter your Moneris Store ID (Your Store ID will start with gwca or monca.)
- Enter your Moneris API Token (This is found by logging in to your Moneris Gateway and then clicking Store Settings)
- Enter the Hosted Tokenization Profile ID (You will need to contact Tee-On Support for help with this step)
- Enter your Google Pay Web Key(Optional)
- Type the Merchant Name (The name of your golf course. This will be on the receipt your customers get)
- Type your address into Merchant Address 1
- Type your City/Province or State into Merchant Address 2
- Type your Postal/Zip Code into Merchant Address 3
- Beside Merchant URL, enter in the URL for your website. (E.g. www.bluegrassgolfclub.com)
- If you would like to have text in the footer of the receipt, type the text into the Restrictions box.
- Click Apply to save the changes.
Colours and Background
- Application Title- You can enter how you want the Application Title to appear. Enter your Application title into the box provided. You will see a preview of how it will look on the right side of the screen.
- Hide Application Title- If you want to hide the application title from your Food Ordering Application then check the box beside Hide Application Title.
- Change Application Title Colour- To change the application title colour, click on the box beside Change Application Title Colour and choose the new colour.
- Hide Application Title Glow- By default your title will have a glow to it. If you want to turn the title glow off then uncheck the box beside Hide Application Title Glow.
- Change Header/Footer/Button Colour- To change the colour of the header, footer and button colour, click on the box beside Change Header/Footer/Button colour and then choose the new colour. You can see a preview of how it will look on the right side when you choose the colour.
- Reset Colours to Default- To reset the colours to default (Red, White & Black) click the Reset Colours to Default button.
- Background Image- You can select an image to be displayed on the home page of the online food ordering application. Due to the variances between mobile phones, please use an image that is 1920x1080 in size. This will ensure that the image will size appropriately for either landscape or portrait viewing. The sample photo (on the right) demonstrates what will be seen by golfers using the App in portrait mode. Image formats are JPEG & PNG.
- Click Upload Image to upload an image from your computer.
Website Integration
- You are provided with a link that you can use to put on your course website. You can create a button that says Online Food Ordering and then direct that button on your website to the link provided there for you.
- Copy the link and paste it on to your website.
QR Code
- You may download a QR code for including on advertisements, signs, scorecards, etc. that links to the Online Food Ordering web application for your course.
- Click the desired image size to save the image. When you scan this QR code with a QR code scanner on your phone, it will open up the Online Food Ordering web application.
- Click Save to save your settings once they have been configured.
Online Food Ordering Setup (Point of Sale)
Navigate to Food Orders Setup
- From your Point of Sale, click Admin
- Click Food Order Setup. If you don't see online food orders give us a call. This button will need to be turned on for you.
Food Order Settings
- Click Settings
- Generate order numbers for food sales in the POS- This setting allows you to generate order numbers for food sales in the POS. Anytime a transaction is done through sales, a food order number will be generated.
- Allow orders from off-course locations- Check off this setting if you are allowing orders from off-course locations.
- Allow orders from on-course locations- Check off this setting if you are allowing orders from on-course locations.
- Allow orders to be delivered on the course- Check off this setting if you are going to be delivering orders on the course.
- Assign staff doing delivery when completing an order- If you are having staff doing delivery, check this setting off and you will be prompted to enter their quick ID # when the order is complete.
- Print online orders to the kitchen from this computer- Check this setting off on the computer that will be printing the orders. This should only be checked off on one computer.
- Print online orders as soon as they are received - Check this setting if you want the orders to print to the kitchen as soon as they are received. If not checked staff will need to open the Food Orders screen to confirm order then the order will print.
- Mark orders as overtime after _____ minutes- Orders can be marked as overtime after a certain number of minutes. Enter the number of minutes you consider to be overtime and once an order is marked as overtime a text will be sent to the manager.
- Allow Online Payment- Setting to allow Online Payment
- Allow Pay on Delivery- Setting to allow your customers to Pay on Delivery. If you are allowing pay on delivery, when the customer goes to pay, the order can be accessed from the sales screen by clicking More Functions and then Online Food Sales.
- Allow on account purchases for online orders- Setting to all your customers to charge orders to their accounts.
- Print order details on kitchen printout - When checked all information will be printed on the Kitchen printout, not just the food item(s)
- Contact location when offline- Type in the contact location when food ordering is turned off
- Contact phone when offline - Type in the contact phone number when food ordering is turned off
- Staff members to notify (New Orders)- Select the staff members who will be notified when a new order comes in. You can select multiple staff members. They must have their cell phone numbers on their staff profile. You will be notified by text message.
- Staff members to notify (Ready for Pickup)- Select the staff member(s) who will be notified when a new order is ready for pickup. They must have their cell phone numbers on their staff profile. You will be notified by text message.
- Staff members to notify (Manager/overdue orders)- Select the staff member(s) who will be notified when an order is overdue. They must have their cell phone numbers on their staff profile. You will be notified by text message.
- Once you have configured your settings, click Save Settings
On- Course Pickup Locations
On-Course Pickup Locations is located in Settings
- To add an on-course pickup location to Online Food Ordering, click On-Course Pickup Locations
- Click Add New Location to add a new pickup location
- Enter the Name of the new location
- If you want to show a notes field for customer input at check-out, check off the box
- If you want to require the customer to enter a note, check off the box
- Enter the description for customer notes filed into the provided box
- Click Ok
- To edit an existing pickup location, select the existing location and click Edit Location
- To remove a pickup location, select the location and click Remove Location
- Use the arrows to move the order up and down on the list
- Click Ok once you have added all of your pickup locations
Off-Course Take-Out Locations
Off-Course Take-Out Locations is located in Settings
- To add an off-course pickup take-out location to Online Food Ordering, click Off-Course Take Locations
- Click Add New Location
- Type in the Name of the location
- If you want to show a notes field for customer input at check-out, check off the box
- If you want to require the customer to enter a note, check off the box
- Enter the description for customer notes filed into the provided box
- Click Ok
- To edit an existing location, select the existing location and click Edit Location
- To remove a takeout location, select the location and click Remove Location
- Use the arrows to move the order up and down on the list
Online Categories (Adding, Editing and Removing Online Categories)
Online Categories are a way to set up/separate your menu. An example of an Online Category might be Beverages or Drinks, Food, Snacks, etc.
- To navigate back to online categories from food order settings, click Online Categories.
- Click Add Category
- Type in the Name of the Category (E.g. Food or Drinks)
- Type a description if needed. This will show up on the category above the items chosen.
- You can also set an active date/time. To do this click Set Active Date/Time and set your dates & times.
- Once you are finished configuring your category, click Ok. You will see the category appear on your screen.
Selecting Items for Online Categories
- To add items to your Online Categories, select the online category you want to add the items to and click Select Items. This will allow you to browse your departments and search for the items you want to sell in Online Food Ordering.
- Select the items you wish to sell and then click Ok
Editing Item Descriptions
- To edit an item description, select the item you want to edit the description for and click Edit Item Description.
- Click Ok once you have added the description
Setting the Item Order
- To set the item order inside of a category, select the category and click Set Item Order.
- Select the item(s) and use the Up and Down arrows to change the button order.
Setting the Category Order
- To set the category order, click Set Category Order
- Select the category and use the Up and Down arrows to set the category order.
- Click Ok once you have set the order.
Marking a Category as Cannot Be Sold
- You have the ability to set your categories up and hide them from your online food ordering app. To hide the category check off the box beside Cannot be Sold inside of the category you don't want to sell.
- By default when you create a category, this setting will be checked off. You have to uncheck it for it to become active.
