Setting the Button Color

Button colors are useful for organizing items within a department or inventory tree. There are two methods for changing button color, by editing the individual item or by selecting a group of items to change. You also have the ability to copy and paste colors for times when you are associating a specific color with a certain meaning.

 

Setting the Button Color for an Individual Item

  1. From Admin, click Items and Departments
  2. Select the item you want to edit.
  3. Click Button Color
  4. Click Choose Color
  5. Select the Color from the chart and click Ok
  6. If you want to use white text on the button, check the box beside Use White Text
  7. Click Ok
  8. Click Save

 

Setting the Button Color for Multiple Items

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments
  3. Select the department you want to work on
  4. Click Set Item Order
  5. Select the buttons you want to change the color for; you can select as many as you need.
  6. Click Set Button Color

Setting a New Color

  1. If you want the text to be white, check the box beside Use White Text
  2. Click New Color
  3. Select the color from the chart of colors
  4. Click Ok
  5. Click Save Changes

Choose an Existing Color

  1. If you want the text to be white, check the box beside Use White Text
  2. Click Choose Existing Color
  3. Select the color from one of the other items
  4. Click Save Changes

 

Copy and Pasting Colors

Copying a Color

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments
  3. Select the department you want to work on
  4. Click Set Item Order
  5. Select the item with the color you want to copy
  6. Click Set Button Color
  7. Click Copy Color

Pasting a Color

  1. Select the item you want to paste the color to.
  2. Click Set Button Color
  3. Click Paste Color
  4. Click Save Changes
