Selling Memberships

There are three different ways to sell memberships, based on the type of membership and whether or not the member is renewing the membership. Generally, a membership sale is no different than other types of sales. Be sure to check with your manager about the club’s policies regarding membership sales.

 

Selling New Memberships

To sell this kind of membership, first choose Sales Screen from the Main Screen, select the Membership department to open it (Depending on your defaults, you may need to click Up One Level or All Departments to access the Membership department). From inside the Membership department, click on the membership you would like to sell, choose the payment type and complete the sale.

  1. Click Select Customer

  2. If the customer is not yet in your database, you can add them. If you don’t have permission to add new members, type in the customer’s name in the Add Public Name field at the bottom.

  3. Click Ok

  4. Select the membership item.

  5. Select the payment type to complete the transaction.

 

Renewing Memberships

When a member renews their membership, their profile should already be in place if your club used Tee-On the previous season.

  1. Click Select Customer

  2. Search the Member.

  3. Click Ok

  4. Select the membership item

  5. Select the payment type to complete the transaction. 

 

Deferred Memberships

If your club allows member to defer payments, and has set up its membership inventory this way, you will be able to accept a down payment for the membership instead of requiring the full amount.

  1. Click Select Customer

  2. Search the Member.

  3. Click Ok

  4. Select the Membership item.

  5. A popup indicating the down payment amount and payment schedule will appear, click Ok

  6. Select the payment type to complete the transaction.
