With Tee On’s POS, your club can email mobile gift cards, promotional tickets and game packs at the time of purchase. This function provides you another way to send promotional offers – beyond paper tickets or plastic cards.

There’s TWO WAYS for golfers to use their smartphones to redeem mobile coupons at your course.
1. Easily scan smartphones and more…
The barcodes on Tee On’s mobile gift cards, promotional tickets and game packs can be scanned directly from your customer’s smartphone – if you have the right equipment in place. There’s a new type of scanner on the market referred to as a 2D barcode scanner. We recommend the Symbol DS4308 scanner. This scanner does everything that existing 1D scanners do – scanning paper and plastic cards – BUT the 2D scanner also allows you to scan barcodes directly from a smartphone!

2. Not ready to upgrade to the D2 scanner?
No worries - you can still easily type in the barcode number displayed on the smartphone directly into your POS, in order to redeem mobile gift cards, tickets or game packs.
Below, you will find the instructions to:
- turn on mobile tickets / game packs
- issue mobile tickets / game packs
- redeem mobile tickets on the sales screen
- redeem mobile tickets in check-in
- redeem gift cards/certificates
Turning on Mobile Tickets / Game Packs, follow these steps:
- On the Admin screen, click Ticket Setup
- Select the Ticket that you want to email and click Edit Ticket
- Check the box, Send email when sold online, then choose OK.
Issuing Mobile Tickets / Game Packs, follow these steps:
- Select the item that you've attached a mobile ticket to.
- The item appears in the Description box.
- Choose the Payment Method.
- Enter the customer information, name and email address and click OK if it's just a single ticket
- Issuing more than one ticket to the same customer, check the box, Apply customer information to all Tickets
- The ticket will automatically be emailed when you click the OK button.
Redeeming Mobile Tickets / Game Packs on the Sales Screen, follow these steps:
- Select the Scan Ticket button.
- Either scan the barcode on the smartphone or type in the Ticket ID.
- The ticket details will display in the description box.
- Select the Payment Method.
Redeeming Green Fee / Cart Fee Tickets in Check-In, follow these steps:
- To redeem a green fee or cart fee ticket, click either the Green Fee or Cart Fee Button.
- Select the Scan Ticket button.
- Either scan the barcode or type in the Ticket ID and click OK.
Redeeming Dollar-Off & Promo Tickets in Check-In, follow these steps:
- Click on the Dollar-Off & Promo Tickets button.
- Either scan or type in the barcode ID into the Scan Ticket box and click OK.
Redeeming Gift Cards / Certificates, follow these steps:
- Select the item(s) that the customer wants to purchase first, then click on the Gift Certificate button at the bottom of the screen. The Gift Certificate button is a payment method.
- Either scan or type in the Gift Certificate ID and click the OK button.
