Restricting the Sale of an Item

When selling items, you have the option to restrict the sale of an item when there are none in stock. 

Restricting the Sale of an Item

1. From your Point of Sale, click Admin.
2. Click Items and Departments
3. Find the item you'd like to restrict the sale of an item on, and select it.
4. Click Next
5.  Check off the box for Restrict sale when none in stock
6. When you go to sell this item, you will get a notification that says "The following items cannot be sold because there are none left in stock. Either receive inventory for these items to put more in stock or uncheck the flag for these items that restricts the sale if not enough in stock (both of these options can be performed by going to 'Items and Departments' in administration and editing the items)" 

Unrestricting the Sale of an Item

1. From your Point of Sale, click Admin.
2. Click Items and Departments
3. Find the item you'd like to restrict the sale of an item on, and select it.
4. Click Next
5.  Uncheck the box for Restrict sale when none in stock
