Resetting the Override Password

There are certain functions within the Point of Sale that require a manager override in order to continue, such as closing the cash with an open transaction. If the override password is misplaced, a Super Administrator can reset the override password using their username and password. 

 

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Manage and Upgrade the POS
  3. Click Set Override Password
  4. Click Reset Password
  5. Type in the Super Administrator Username.
  6. Type in the Super Administrator Password.
  7. Click Ok

 

You can now assign a new override password to the POS if you choose. If a password is not assigned, for times when the system prompts for an override password you can leave the field blank and click Ok
