Reports will not open

The default PDF reader (usually Adobe) that is called to open the report when the POS has finished creating it is not working properly.

 

Trying reinstalling the PDF reader you are using. If you don’t know what PDF reader you should be using go to Adobe.com and download the free PDF viewer.

 

In Adobe Reader click on Edit and then Preferences. Choose Security (Enhanced) from the list and uncheck enable protected mode at startup as well as Enable enhanced security.

 

In rare case the following needs to be put in your configuration to force the POS to open the report with adobe reader. Please call Tee-on to get this added to your configuration file.

In some cases the program that is opening the report is not the one you want. There are two options to change this:

  1. You can go to settings in the computer and change the default program that will open PDF files.
  2. Install/reinstall the program you want to open PDF files.
