The Microsoft Surface Go and Surface Pro are both versatile 2-in-1 devices designed by Microsoft, but they cater to different user needs and preferences. Here are some key differences between the two:
Performance
The Surface Pro usually offers higher performance compared to the Surface Go. The Surface Pro is powered by more powerful processors (Intel Core i5 or i7), whereas the Surface Go typically features less powerful Intel Pentium Gold or Intel Core m3 processors.
Display Size and Resolution
The Microsoft Surface Pro typically comes with a larger and higher-resolution display compared to the Surface Go. The Surface Pro features a 12.3-inch display with a resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels, while the Surface Go has a smaller 10-inch display with a resolution of 1800 x 1200 pixels. The larger and higher-resolution display of the Surface Pro provides a more immersive viewing experience and may be more beneficial for table service.
Price
The Microsoft Surface Go is more affordable than the Surface Pro. Due to its smaller size and less powerful hardware, the Surface Go is priced lower than the Surface Pro, making it a more budget-friendly option.
Portability
The Microsoft Surface Go is more portable and lightweight compared to the Microsoft Surface Pro. The Surface Go is designed to be ultra-portable, making it easy to carry around and use on the go, while the Surface Pro is slightly larger and heavier, which may affect its portability for some users.
Overall, the choice between the Microsoft Surface Go and Surface Pro depends on your specific needs and priorities. If portability and affordability are key factors, the Surface Go may be the better option. However, if performance and a larger display are more important, the Surface Pro would be the preferred choice. We always recommend purchasing 1 tablet first to make sure it works smooth for your operation, then add additional tablets as needed.
Recommended Tablets for the Beverage Cart
Most tablets or cell phones (iPad, Android, Windows) will work for the beverage cart. They must either have a sim card (LTE, 4G) or WiFi connection to the Golf Course.
The Beverage Cart app is web browser based, as long as you have an internet browser on the tablet, it should work.
Note: Your staff can also use their Cell Phones as well!
