Pro-Rated Rain Checks
The Point of Sale includes functionality to issue and redeem pro-rated dollar value rain checks. Based on the number of holes a golfer has played, the club can issue dollar value green fee, cart and miscellaneous rain checks. Miscellaneous rain checks can be used for pull carts, club rentals, etc.
Enabling Pro-Rated Rain Checks
In order to issue and redeem pro-rated rain checks the functionality needs to be enabled in your Point of Sale.
- Click Admin
- Click Pro-Rated Rain Check
- Check the box to Allow pro-rated rain checks
- Set the Tax for each rain check type.
- Set the Expiry Date if required.
- Click Ok
Rain Check Tickets
The pro-rated rain check tickets will already be set up in your Point of Sale with the appropriate SKU. If you want additional course information and text on the ticket the ticket can be edited to include this.
- Click Admin
- Click Ticket Setup
- Select one of the Pro-Rated Rain Checks.
- Click Edit Ticket
Marking Sale Department(s) to Issue Rain Checks
- Click Admin
- Click Items and Departments
- Click Edit Department
- Select the department you want to mark to issue rain checks.
- Check the box to Issue Rain Checks for Items
- Click Update Items with Defaults
- Check Issue Rain Checks for Items
- Click Ok
- Click Save
Marking Sale Item(s) to Issue Rain Checks
- Click Admin
- Click Items and Departments
- Select the Department.
- Select the Item.
- Click Next
- Click Next
- Check the box for This item issues rain checks
- Click Save
Issuing Pro-Rated Rain Checks
Pro-Rated Rain Checks are issued directly from the tee time within check-in.
- Check Pay for the tee time you want to issue rain checks for.
- Click Rain Check
- Click Issue Rain Check
- Type in the # of Holes played.
- Check the box for the items rain checks are to be issued for.
- Click Ok
Redeeming Pro-Rated Rain Checks
Pro-Rated Rain Checks are redeemed directly from the tee time within check-in.
- Check Pay for the tee time you want to issue rain checks for
- Click Rain Check
- Click Redeem Rain Check
- Scan or Type in the Ticket ID.
- Click Ok
