Online Gift Certificate Settings

Online gift certificates are created by choosing from the fixed amount gift certificates set up on the Tee-On Point of Sale and setting the online options such as images and descriptions. The SKU, price and taxes of online gift certificates are obtained from the POS and cannot be changed. To update online gift certificates with changes made on the POS use the refresh item function.

If you want to sell and mail out a gift card, you would do that by setting up the gift card as a regular item. You would then write down the address and ship it out. You may also hold it in the pro shop for the customer. 

If you can't find your gift certificate items in the list, it is most likely because they were not set up under Gift Certificates in your Online Store.

1. From your online tee sheet, click Administration.
2. Click Online Store 
3. Click Gift Certificate Setup 
4. To upload your own gift card image, click Upload Image, or you may also use the default image. If you are going to be creating your own custom image, the image should be 260 x 170 pixels.If the image is a different size, it will be scaled to fit. 
5. To use the default image, click Use Default Image. 
6. If you want to include the words Gift Card beside the dollar value, make sure the box is checked off. An instance where you would want to have the words Gift Card beside the dollar value would be if your image doesn't have the words in it. 
7. If you would like to preview how the gift certificate will look, click Preview.  
8. Click the Save button.
