Your terminal is unable to receive information from your POS
- Ensure that your terminal is properly connected to your POS. The IP Address and Port Number (5110) must match.
- Ensure your terminal always uses the same IP address in order to maintain a connection to your POS. Configure the network setup on your Moneris terminal to use Static IP addressing.
- At the Main menu, tap Settings, Communication, and Communications setup, the follow the prompts.
- Make sure that Cellular communication is disabled and that WiFi is enabled.
- Make sure your terminal is connected to a WiFi network. If your terminal is connected via WiFi, the name of the WiFi network will appear under Scan Networks.
- Your POS and your Moneris terminal must be on the same Network. Verify that they aren't on different networks.
