Moneris iCT250 Network Terminal Troubleshooting

*If the below troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue you may need to contact Moneris for support*
If the Moneris iCT250 payment terminal is acting differently than expected or not prompting to SWIPE/INSERT card when you initiate a transaction the first thing to try is rebooting the terminal
Rebooting the Terminal
- Hold the Yellow button and .,#*button at the same time until the terminal beeps
- Wait until the terminal is back to "WELCOME/BONJOUR"
- You DO NOT need to Close and Open the POS
- Try the transaction again
- If this doesn't work you may call Tee On Support
Troubleshooting Specific Error Codes on the Terminal
INIT REQ'D is displayed on the screen
- Ensure all ethernet cables a properly plugged in (may also need to make sure there are no firewall restrictions on your network)
- Confirm that your network is functioning
HOST CONNECTION FAILED or TCP CONNECTION FAILED
- Ensure all ethernet cables a properly plugged in (may also need to make sure there are no firewall restrictions on your network)
- Confirm that your network is functioning
- If you were performing your first initialization or were reinitializing then try to reinitialize the terminal (above)
- If you were configuring your static IP communication settings when error occurred
- press .,#* twice, enter11and press the Green Button
- When "HOST SETUP" menu appears press the Red Button
- If "TCP HOST CONNECTION OK PRESS OK" appears, press the Green Button and continue on at step 8 of To Configure the terminal above
- If "TCP CONNECTION FAILED" error appears, press .,#* twice, enter 13and press green button, when "ETHERNET SETUP" menu appears, re-enter the static IP values and continue at step 8 of to Configure the terminal above
CHECK ECR CONNECTION PRESS [OK]
- Means the terminal could not communicate with the POS
- Press the Green Button
- When "RESPONSE WAS NOT SENT TO ECR PRESS [OK]" appears press the Green Button
- make sure that ethernet cable is connected properly and that your network is functioning properly
ECR PRINTING FAILED
- Means the POS was unable to communicate with the terminal to let it know that it has printed the receipts
- Press "CONTINUE" and the receipt will print on the terminal, the receipts should also print from the POS
