ICT250 Long Setup - If Moneris has NOT setup the pinpad to the point where it works non-integrated
The terminal must be hooked up to your network through an ethernet cable in order for this integration to work. In some cases you may need to purchase a 5-port switch if there are no available ports nearby to connect the PINPAD too.
*You will need the POS admin card and Merchant ID provided by Moneris in order to configure the terminal. You will also need to know your Network Configuration (IP address, default gateway, etc.)*
The iCT250 goes through a different Moneris Gateway than the iPP320 and Online Store Transactions. This means Moneris will setup another Merchant ID for your club. You will now have two Merchant ID's. You will still login to Merchant Direct with the same username and password, but you will now see two accounts after you login. (Note: Moneris needs to link the two Merchant accounts together on their system in order for you to see them both)
Moneris should be setting up your iCT250 in standalone mode meaning you would be able to run transactions on that PINPAD. In order to configure it to work with the POS you would need to put the PINPAD in semi-integrated mode and configure the POS to communicate with the PINPAD.
To Configure the terminal for the first time
- Connect an Ethernet Cable to the box attached to the iCT250 terminal and plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the appropriate networking device (must be same network as your POS client)
