Loyalty Point Program Initial Setup
The Point of Sale includes a loyalty point program that can be used for both member and public golfers.
In order to use the loyalty program you first need to activate loyalty and set the default number of loyalty points per dollar. For example, if the default is set to 1 point per dollar and a golfer purchases a $20 item, they will receive 20 loyalty points. Department(s) and item(s) can also be set with custom loyalty points outside of the default.
After activating loyalty points in your POS, you will need to allow customers to collect loyalty points.
This can be done by customer type as outlined below or by going to the individual customer's profile and checking the box for 'Collect Loyalty Points'.
Activate Loyalty
- Click. Admin
- Click Loyalty
- Check the box to Activate Loyalty.
- Type in the default loyalty points per dollar.
- For clubs allowing a dollar value point redemption, check the box to allow it.
- Type in the number of points to be redeemed per dollar.
- Click Save
Allow Customers to Collect Points
- Click Admin
- Click Customers
- Click Configure Loyalty Points
- Select On
- Select the Customer Types you want to allow to collect points.
- Click. Ok
- Click Yes
Loyalty points will now be turned on for all customers with the types that you selected. They may begin collecting points immediately.
