Linking a Redemption Item to the Check-In Tee Sheet

When linking redemption items to check-in, make sure "Cannot be Sold" is checked off in the item maintenance page, therefore the redeeming item will not appear as a viable item to be picked as a green fee in the check-in screen, even though the redeeming item is added in the check-in setup of the Point of Sale. The only way the redemption item appears in the check-in screen is if you link the sale to a customer that has purchased an item that has a redemption item attached to it.  By clicking "Scan Ticket", the redemption item will appear as the green fee. This is the only way the number of tickets purchased by the customer decreases. 

 

Marking the Redemption Item as "Cannot be Sold"

  1. From your Point of Sale, click Admin
  2. Click Items & Departments
  3. Select the redemption item.
  4. Check off Cannot be Sold
  5. Click Save. The item will only show up when the ticket is scanned/selected.

 

Linking the Redemption Item to Check-In

  1. From your Point of Sale, click Admin
  2. Click Tee Sheet
  3. Click Check-In Setup
  4. Click Set Green Fee
  5. Choose the day to add the redemption item to.
  6. When linking redemption items to check-in, the item only needs to be linked in one spot for the entire day for the Point of Sale to recognize the item is linked. (E.g. Public from 6am-10am. The ticket will still be able to be scanned throughout the entire day regardless of the member type or time range or whether you are checking in a green fee or cart.)
  7. Select the Customer Type and Number of Holes from the drop-downs.
  8. Select the time range. (If you have multiple time ranges, select any one of them)
  9. Click Add/Remove Item(s)
  10. Browse your departments for the redemption item. Select the item and click Ok. If you selected the item, you will see the name of the redemption on the left side of the screen.
  11. Click Save
  12. Repeat the process for each day of the week. If your redemption item is also going to be redeemed during league times, be sure to link it to your league fees as well.
