Inventory Example - Bag of Tees

Inventory Items include items such as shirts, gloves and putters that you want to use the POS to track sales and inventory on. 

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments
  3. Select the department or sub-department the item is being added to.
  4. Click Add Item
  5. Scan the barcode for the item or leave the autogenerated SKU in place.
  6. Type a Name for the Item.  Press Tab three times to copy the Name to Button Text, Receipt Description and Label Text. 
  7. Set the Accounting Reference
  8. Set the Tax
  9. Set the Item Type to Inventory Item
  10. Click Next
  11. Click Create New Units
  12. Set the Vendor, Ordering Unit and Selling Unit
  13. Type the Number of Selling Units in an Ordering Unit
  14. Click Ok
  15. Type a Retail Price
  16. Click Next
  17. Set Receipt settings. 
  18. Click Save

 

Creating a Second Bag of Tees Item

  1. Click Add Item
  2. Scan the barcode for the item or leave the autogenerated SKU in place.
  3. Type a Name for the item.  Press Tab three times to copy the Name to Button Text, Receipt Description and Label Text. 
  4. Set the Accounting Reference
  5. Set the Sales Tax
  6. Set the Item Type to Inventory Item
  7. Click Next
  8. Click Set from Existing Vendors
  9. Highlight the Vendor. 
  10. Click Add
  11. Click Ok
  12. Type a Price.
  13. Click Next
  14. Set Receipt settings.
  15. Click Save
