HD Mode (1920 x 1080 screen resolution)

 

HD mode displays larger buttons on the POS sales screens

 

HD mode is for monitors that are capable of displaying a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Manage and Upgrade POS
  3. Check the box to 'Run this register in HD mode'

HD mode is a register specific setting. When checked, the sales screens, including food & beverage, are reformatted in HD.

 

HD mode is the preferred screen resolution for tablets.

 

How to determine if your monitor is capable of displaying HD

 

To see if your monitor is able to display in HD, from the Windows desktop screen, right click anywhere there is no icon.

 

 

  1. Choose Display settings from the drop down menu.
  2. If 1920 x 1080 resolution is available on the monitor, you will be able to highlight it in the list.

 

  1. Close the window in the top right corner to save the settings.
