Global Payments iCT250 Troubleshooting

If the payment terminal is acting differently than expected, try rebooting the terminal (described below).

 

Rebooting the iCT250:

 - The first thing is to close out of the POS 

 - Reboot the Global Payments iCT 250 payment terminal by holding down the '.,#*' button and the yellow button at the same time until it beeps.

 - Wait until the terminal is back to 'welcome/bonjour' and then open the POS. It should be working normally again.

 

While completing a transaction if the terminal says something like 'Failed to Print from ECR' and gives you the option to retry or continue, this usually means the terminal and the POS are out of sync. You will need reboot the terminal by following the steps above.

 

If rebooting the terminal doesn't work then you may need to call Tee On Support.
