Global Payments iCT250 Setup
For clubs using Global Payments' iCT250 terminals there is no software to install on the POS client computer. The terminal must be connected through ethernet and must be configured to a static IP address (must be different static IP address than the computer itself is set to).
To Configure the Terminal:
- Connect an ethernet cord from the terminal to your POS client computer, and plug the terminal's power cord into an outlet to power it on.
- Wait until the terminal says "Welcome/Bonjour"
- To configure the terminal, access the admin menu by pressing ".,#*".
- Enter the admin name given to you by Global Payments, then press green button
- Enter the admin password given to you by Global Payments, then press green button
- Select 9 for Misc. Options
- Select 1 for Semi-integrated
- Select 2 for Communication Type
- Select 3 for Ethernet
- Here you will see the IP address on the top, enter the port number5110 and then press the green button
- Select 3 for Receipt Options
- Select 1 for ECR to change the printing method to ECR
- Select 1 for EnableSemiInteg
- Select "On" to turn on Semi-Integrated.
- Hit the red button until back to the Welcome/Bonjour screen
- To make sure the terminal will prompt for gratuity
- Enter the admin name given to you by Global Payments, then press green button
- Enter the admin password given to you by Global Payments, then press green button
- Select 3 for Setup Menu
- Select 4 for Trans Options
- Select 5 for Tip Options
- Select 1 for Tip
- Select 2 for Std Tip Only
- Hit the red button until back to the Welcome/Bonjour screen
- Once the terminal is properly configured, you will need to configure the settings within the POS.
- Login to the POS and go to "ADMIN", then select "Payment Terminal".
- Select the checkbox beside "This register has an integrated payment terminal".
- Select "Global Payments" from the drop down menu beside "Terminal Type".
- In the "Terminal Address" line enter the static IP address that the terminal is configured to.
- In the "Terminal Port Number" line enter the port number that the terminal was configured to, most likely5110.
- Press the "Test Connection" button to test the connection to the terminal.
- Within 5-10 seconds of clicking the button a popup message should appear saying "Connection Successful", click "OK".
- Click "OK" again to save the settings in the "Payment Terminal Setup" screen.
- The payment terminal should be saying "Welcome/Bonjour" at this point.
Note: In order to setup automatic batch closes, you need to set it up through Global Payments to do it automatically. Make sure to set it to automatically at the end of the day and you are no longer processing transactions (Ex. 11:55 PM).
To Set IP Address of the Terminal:
- go to admin menu (".,#*")
- put in admin name and password
- 3 for Setup Menu
- 2 for Communications
- 3 for Ethernet
- 2 for Ethernet Setup
- select static/IP
- Enter the IP address
- Hit the red button until back to the welcome screen
