General Department Overview

Accessing Inventory Administration

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments

 

Adding a Department

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments
  3. Select the department or sub-department the department is being added to.
  4. Click Add Department

 

Deleting a Department

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments
  3. Select the level of the inventory tree that the department is in.
  4. Click Delete Department
  5. Select the department to be deleted.
  6. Click Yes to confirm.

 

Restoring a Department

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments
  3. Select the level of the inventory tree that the department is in.
  4. Click Restore Department
  5. Select the date range to search for deleted departments.
  6. Select the department to be restored.
  7. Click Ok to continue.
  8. Click Yes to confirm.
  9. Select the level of the inventory tree that the department is to be put back in.
  10. Click Select Current Department

 

Editing a Department

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments
  3. Select the level of the inventory tree that the department is in.
  4. Click Edit Department
  5. Make required changes.
  6. Click Save

 

Copying a Department

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments
  3. Select the level of the inventory tree that the department is in.
  4. Click Copy Department
  5. Select the department to be copied.
  6. Click Yes to confirm.

 

Moving a Department

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments
  3. Select the level of the inventory tree that the department is in.
  4. Click Move Department
  5. Select the department to be moved.
  6. Select the destination department.
  7. Click Move to Current Department

 

Setting the Department Order

  1. Click Admin
  2. Click Items and Departments
  3. Click Set Department Order
  4. Highlight the department to be moved.
  5. Click the arrow buttons to arrange the departments.
  6. Click Save Changes
