Exporting Sales Data for Accounting Software

**IMPORTANT**: Users of QuickBooks 2019, when you are doing your imports from Tee On into quick books you need to click Import it for me, I'll fix it later instead of the "Import IIF" button in order to import files from Tee On. There is a problem with the QuickBooks program that they have to fix.

 

The Tee On Point of Sale is integrated with several accounting packages. In order to make use of the integration you will be required to enter your sales related accounting references into the POS.

 

Before exporting your sales data the first time, ensure that you have selected the proper settings for your accounting package:

  1. Click Admin

  2. Click Accounting References

  3. Make sure that you have selected the correct accounting package and the box beside Use Accounting References is checked.

 

Creating the Export File

  1. Click Admin

  2. Click Reports

  3. Click Export Sales Data

  4. Select date range for the export file.

  5. Select register logs to be included.

  6. Click Ok

  7. You will then receive a message that the export file was created successfully.

 

Export File Directory

 

Once the export file is created it is saved on your computer. To retrieve the file, follow this path:

  • My computer ⇒Local disk (C:) ⇒ Program Files ⇒ TeeOn⇒ Point of Sale⇒ Exports

  • The file can then be imported into your accounting software
