ETS Magnetic Swipe Reader Setup

* Some PCs do not have TLS 1.2 enabled (especially Windows 7). Download and run this script to enable TLS 1.2 in the registry.

For clubs using ETS' magnetic swipe readers there is no software to install on the POS client computer. 

Magnetic Swipe Reader

This integration is NOT supported on Windows XP

To configure the integration login to the Point of Sale client

1. Click Admin
2. Click on the Payment Terminal button
3. Check the box beside "This register has an integrated payment terminal"
4. From the Terminal Type dropdown choose "ETS" then click the "ETS Config" button at the bottom right of the window
5. Merchant Type does not matter
6. ETS will provide you with the Merchant ID, Merchant Name, Client ID, Master Key, and Terminal ID for your terminal
7. The Terminal ID is normally 0000
8. Pay by Card URL is https://pos.etsemoney.com/POSCP4/main.asp
9. Select "None" for Terminal
10. Model - does not matter, best to just leave it at "L4150"
11. Comm Method - choose "Serial"
12. Card Reader - choose "Standard Keyboard Emulation"
13. Leave IP Address, Port #, and COM Port empty
14. Make sure "Signature Capture" is unchecked
15. Click OK and then Click "Test Connection", a message should appear telling you that the connection was successful.
