# Editing a Happy Hour Pricing Level

**Navigate to the Happy Hour Pricing Level**

1. From your Point of Sale, click **Admin**
2. Click **Items & Departments**
3. Click **Discounts/Happy Hour**
4. Select the Happy Hour pricing level and click **Update Discount**

 

**Activate/ Deactivate the Happy Hour Pricing Level**

1. To activate/ deactivate a Happy Hour pricing level check off the box beside **Active**. 

 

**Change the Discount Type or Value (%)**

1. To change the **Discount Type** (% Below Retail or % Above cost), select the drop-down box and choose the correct type for your pricing level. 
2. To change the **Value (%)**, type in the new value into the box provided. 

 

**Change the Associated Types**

1. To add a new type to the pricing level select the type and use the**\>** (forward arrow) button to move them over to the Associated Types column. 
2. To select all types click **Select All Types**. All types will now be selected. 
3.  To remove a type from the Associated types select the type and use the**\<** (backwards arrow) button to remove them from the Associated Types column. 
4. To deselect all types click **Deselect All Types**. All types that were selected will now be deselected. 

 

**Change the Active Date/Time**

1. If you are making changes to the Active Date/Time click the **Set Active Date/Time** button. 

**Set Active Dates:**

- To change the active dates, choose the dates by clicking on the date boxes and selecting the dates. If the pricing level is going to be active forever then check off the box beside **Forever              **

 

**Add a Time Range to a Single Day:**

- If you would like to add a time range to a single day, select the day and click **Add Time Range**. 
- Enter the Start and End times for the new time range or check off **All Day** if it is an all day pricing level. 
- Click **Ok**. You will see the new time range added to the day you selected. 

 

**Add Time Range to All Days:**

- If you would like to add a time range to all days, click **Add Time Range to all Days**. 
- Enter the Start and End times for the new time range or check off **All Day** if it is an all day pricing level. 
- Click **Ok**. You will see the new time range added to all days. 

 

**Remove a Time Range**

- To remove a time range, select the time range on the day you'd like to remove it from and click **Remove Time Range** and then **Yes**.

 

Once you have made all of your changes click **Ok**

1. If you are satisfied with your changes, click **Save**.
