Dynamic Pricing Overview

Dynamic pricing is used to populate your tee sheet with prices automatically to help attract golfers to your unused tee times. You are able to customize the rules for each dynamic price to activate it when you want it. The main factors determining if the price should be activated are the day of the week and time of day, the number of days ahead and the tee sheet usage as a percentage.

 

A price will be applied on a nine by nine basis. For example, on a standard 18 hole course the price will be applied to the Front nine first. If successful it will not try to apply the price to the back nine. If it can't apply the price to the front nine due to the % utilized already being too high, then it will try to apply the price to the back nine.

 

How is percent utilized calculated? Prices are applied on an hour by hour basis. We count the number of tee times in the hour. A tee time is only considered not-utilized if it is empty and available on the web. All other times will be considered utilized. For example, if the hour has 7 tee times and one tee time is blocked and 2 others are empty but not available on the web and the other 4 are available on the web but 2 are already booked then percent utilized will be calculated as 5 divided by 7 (71%).

 

Dynamic Pricing runs 2 times a day (3:45PM & 3:45AM EST) and quit looking once it finds the best match. 

 

All dynamic prices will be applied according to the rules you have configured. 

 

Enable Dynamic Pricing

  1. From your Tee On online account, click Administration
  2. Click Online Pricing
  3. Choose Dynamic Pricing
  4. Check the Dynamic Pricing Enabled box to enable dynamic pricing.
  5. Click Yes to enable dynamic pricing.

Disable Dynamic Pricing

  1. From your Tee On online account, click Administration
  2. Click Online Pricing
  3. Choose Dynamic Pricing
  4. Uncheck the Dynamic Pricing Enabled box to disable dynamic pricing. 
  5. Click Yes to disable dynamic pricing.
  6. If you want to clear all existing dynamic prices from your tee sheet, click Yes. If you don't want to clear all existing dynamic prices form your tee sheet, click No.
