# Creating a New Payment Type
If your club receives payments in a different format than the ones included in the defaults you can add a new payment type. For example, adding a payment type for wireless pin pads or e-transfers. All new payment types should be added to the cash like category.
It is important to note that when a new payment type is added it will be available from all Point of Sale registers.
1. Click **Admin**
2. Click [**Payment Types**](https://www.tee-on.com/images/uploadedImages/LearningZoneImages/Page_529/PaymentTypes.png)
3. Select [**Cash Like**](https://www.tee-on.com/images/uploadedImages/LearningZoneImages/Page_529/CashLike.png) as the category
4. Click [**Add New Payment Type**](https://www.tee-on.com/images/uploadedImages/LearningZoneImages/Page_529/AddNewPaymentType.png)
5. Type the [**Payment Type**](https://www.tee-on.com/images/uploadedImages/LearningZoneImages/Page_529/PaymentTypeName.png) Name
6. Select [**Accounting Reference**](https://www.tee-on.com/images/uploadedImages/LearningZoneImages/Page_529/PaymentTypeAcctRefNumber.png)
7. Click **Ok**
After clicking **Ok**, you will see that your new payment type has been added to the list of available payment types in the Point of Sale.
