Creating a Combined Special (Green Fee & Cart)

Create the Items in your Point of Sale (Courses with POS and Online Tee Sheet)

  1. From your POS Admin screen, click Items & Departments
  2. Navigate to the department where you are keeping your special item.
  3. Click Add Item
  4. Give the item a name and click the tab button 3 times on your keyboard to copy the text to each line.
  5. Assign an Accounting Reference Tax from the drop-down.
  6. Click Next
  7. Give the special item a price. This can be a retail price or an after tax price.
  8. To enter an after tax price, click Set Price and then choose After Tax Price.
  9. Enter the desired after tax retail price.
  10. Click Next
  11. Set the receipt settings. If you are using pro-rated rain checks, check off the box beside This item issues rain checks.
  12. Click Save
  13. Repeat this process until you have entered in your Green Fee & Cart items.

 

Create the Online Pricing Items (Courses with POS and Online Tee Sheet)

  1. From your Tee On online account, click Administration
  2. Click Online Pricing
  3. Select Pricing Setup
  4. Select the Price Type by clicking on it.
  5. Click Add
  6. Set the item type for your special. All items set up here are either green fees or cart fees and are associated with either 18 or 9 holes. Choose the item type and number of holes for this item. 
  7.  Click Select Item to search your POS for the item.
  8. Select Browse POS Departments to browse through your departments for the item you are adding.
  9. Select Search to search for your special item by Item Name or SKU.
  10. If you are creating a Green Fee & Cart Special and power cart is NOT mandatory, mark the Green Fee item as the special.
  11. If you are creating a Green Fee & Cart Special and the power cart IS mandatory, mark the Power Cart item as the special and not the green fee.
  12. Give the special item a description. If the cart is included in the special, put your special description on the cart item.
  13. Give the special item a short description. If the cart is included in the special, put your short description on the cart item.
  14. Set details popup description. Items can have a popup containing a more detailed description that appears after a golfer clicks on a tee time. This popup only appears if there is a description or the item has extra information to show (i.e. a special which has a special description).
  15. OPTIONAL - Restrict Players: Items can be restricted for sale to specific group sizes only. An example would be a cart special that is only valid for 2 to 4 players> Choose the group size(s) that can purchase this item.
  16. Click Save to save the special item.

 

Apply the Special Pricing Items to a Public Pricing Template

  1. Select the Public Pricing Templates drop-down.
  2. Click Add to create a new public pricing template.
  3. Give the template a name.
  4.  If you are running multiple prices throughout the day for your green fees & carts, add all of the time ranges for the day.
  5. Click Add Time Range to add a time range.
  6. Select the Start Time and the End Time and click Save
  7. If you need to delete a time range, select the time range and click Delete Time Range.
  8. Select the Green Fee Special from the drop-down for the corresponding time range. (If cart is optional, green fee item must be the special item)
  9. Select the Power Cart item from the drop-down for the corresponding time range. (If cart is mandatory, cart item must be the special item)
  10. Repeat the same process for all of your time ranges, 9 holes and 18 holes.
  11. Click Save

Apply the Pricing Template to a Single Day

  1. Click Administration
  2. Click Online Pricing
  3. Click Apply Pricing Template
  4. Choose the date and select the special pricing template from the drop-down

 

Applying the Pricing Template to a Range of Days

  1. Click Back
  2. Click Online Pricing
  3. Click Apply Pricing Template
  4. Check off Range
  5. Select the date range.
  6. Assign the correct pricing template from the drop-down for each day of the week.
  7. Click Save
