Creaitng a Virtual Register for your Beverage Cart
There is an alternate way to set up your Beverage Cart in Tee On besides using the Beverage Cart section in Admin. It is done by creating a Virtual Register, but not in the same way you create one for the Beverage Cart Section. Please see the steps below.
The first step is to create a Staff Member called "Beverage Cart:. If you have more than one Beverage Cart, please put #1, for example at the end of the name and create one for each Cart. These Staff members called Beverage cart will be used by all the Staff who will be selling on the Beverage Cart. When their shift is done on the Beverage Cart, they will sign into the Point of Sale to input their sales by using the Quick Login code for that Beverage Cart, not their own personal Quick Login code. So, keep the Quick Login code simple. (E.g. Use code 100 for Beverage Cart #1)
Link the Staff Member Beverage Cart to a Virtual Register.
- Click Admin
- Click Registers
- Click Add Virtual Register
- Leave Staff Member check marked
- Click Set Member
- Select on the Staff member you named Beverage Cart #1 and then click Ok.
This creates a Register for the Beverage Cart. You are now able to print reports based on the Sales for each Beverage cart.
When the Staff member is done their shift, they will sign into the POS with the Quick Login code for that Beverage cart.
- They will open the cash.
- They will input the Sales for the day, with the methods of payment.
- They will Close the cash.
Also, we have created an Excel Spreadsheet where you will be able to add your items that you sell on the Beverage Cart and all reloads and any returned inventory. It will calculate sales and record inventory sold.
