Collecting Golfer Information and Playing History
Collecting golfer information at the time of booking is important for growing your club's database and tracking rounds and playing history.
Collecting Golfer Data
When booking a tee time from the proshop, try to ensure that you are searching your database and adding new customers each time by following the steps below:
- Select a Tee Time.
- Type in the golfer’s name, phone number or email address.
- Click Member Search or press the Enter key.
- Type in the general information for the golfer.
- Set email preferences.
- Click Save
- Continue making the booking normally.
Note: If you are interested in building your database, searching by phone number tends to be the most successful. It eliminates duplicates for names with multiple spellings or misspellings.
Making a Reservation Using Collected Information
Once the golfer is in your database, booking a tee time for them by searching is simple:
- Select a Tee Time.
- Type in the golfer’s name, phone number or email address.
- Click Member Search or press the Enter key.
- Click on the golfer’s name.
- Continue making the booking normally.
Pre-Booking History Lookup
For times when you want to lookup a golfer's playing history prior to offering them a tee time, for example a busy Saturday morning, follow these steps:
- In the search field in the top right hand corner, type in the golfer’s name, phone number or email address.
- Click on the golfer’s name.
- Statistics for the golfer will be displayed.
- Click Continue if you decide to offer the golfer a Tee Time.
Note: you will need to activate the Settings to show statistics. See the video on Settings in the Course Admin section for more information.
