Adding Specials to your Website

Create the Online Pricing Item (Courses with Tee Sheet and Point of Sale)

  1. Click Administration
  2. Click Online Pricing
  3. Click Pricing Setup
  4. Select the fee type
  5. Click Add
  6. Set the Item Type. All items set up here are either green fees or cart fees and are associated with either 18 or 9 holes. Choose the item type and number of holes for this item. 
  7. Click Select Item to search for the item. 
  8. Click Browse POS Departments to browse your POS departments for the Online Pricing item. 
  9. Click Search and search by item name or SKU. You can search by what an item contains, starts with or an exact match. Combo items configured in the Tee-On Point of Sale do not work with online items and are excluded from the results. 
  10. Mark the Item as a Special and type in a description. 
  11. Set a short description. Items can have up to three lines of text providing a short description of the item. The lines are limited to 20 characters each due to the limited space available on the price display. You can see a preview of the short description on the right side. 
  12. OPTIONAL - Set Details Popup Description. Items can have a popup containing a more detailed description that appears after a golfer clicks a tee time. This popup only appears if there is a description or the item has extra information to show. (i.e. a special which has a special description) 
  13. OPTIONAL - Restrict Players. Items can be restricted for sale to specific group sizes only. An example would be a cart special that is only valid for 2 or 4 players. Choose the group size(s) that can purchase this item. 
  14. Click Save

 

Add the Special to Selected Days and Times (Courses with Tee Sheet and Point of Sale) 

 

Option 1: Add Specials to Specific Dates and Times.

 

From your Tee Sheet, on the day you want to add specials to:

  1. Click on the space in Type Column for the time you want to make a special. 
  2. Select the number of times to change to a special by checking off the box beside each time. 
  3. Select the appropriate Pricing Item by checking off the box beside Pricing
  4. Click Change Pricing
  5. Choose the Green Fees and Cart Fees from the drop-downs and then click Apply. 
  6. Click Save

The Specials tee times will be marked with stars on your Tee Sheet.

 

Option 2: Create a Pricing Template

  1. Click Administration
  2. Click Online Pricing
  3. Click Pricing Setup
  4. Beside Pricing Templates click Add
  5. Type in the Pricing Template name. 
  6. Click Add Range
  7. Set the Start Time and End Time for the new range (when you want the special to be available). 
  8. Click Save
  9. From the drop-down, select the Green Fee and Cart Fee Pricing Items for the time range you wish to display pricing for. Repeat for multiple time ranges if necessary. 
  10. Click Save

Optional: From the drop-down, set the Default Pricing Template for a certain day OR Apply the Pricing Template for a range of days.

 

 

Create the Online Pricing Item (Courses with Tee Sheet Only)

  1. Click Administration
  2. Click Online Pricing
  3. Click Pricing Setup
  4. Select the fee type.
  5. Click Add
  6. Set the Item Type. All items set up here are either green fees or cart fees and are associated with either 18 or 9 holes. Choose the item type and number of holes for this item.
  7. Type the item name. The item name is only seen in the pro shop. It is not seen by the golfer. It should describe the item in a way that uniquely identifies the item from other public green fee items.
  8. Type in the Price, Tax Percentage and Sku of the online pricing item.
  9. Mark the item as a special and give the special a description.
  10. OPTIONAL - Set Short Description -  Items can have a popup containing a more detailed description that appears after a golfer clicks on a tee time. This popup only appears if there is a description or the item has extra information to show (i.e. a special which has a special description).
  11. OPTIONAL - Restrict Players -  Items can be restricted for sale to specific group sizes only. An example would be a cart special that is only valid for 2 or 4 players. Choose the group size(s) that can purchase this item.
  12. Click Save

  5. Choose the Green Fees and Cart Fees from the drop-downs and then click Apply

The Special Tee Times will be marked with stars on your Tee Sheet.

 

Option 2: Create a Pricing Template

  1. Click Administration
  2. Click Online Pricing
  3. Click Pricing Setup
  4.  Select Public Pricing Templates
  5. Click Add
  6. Give the Template a name.
  7. To add a time range click Add Time Range.
  8. Choose the Start and End Times, and then click Save.
  9. To delete a time range, select the row and click Delete Time Range.
  10. From the drop-down, choose the 18 Hole Green Fee.
  11. From the drop-down, choose the 18 Hole Cart Fee
  12. Repeat the same steps for the 9 Hole Green Fee & Cart Fee. 
  13. Click Save when finished editing the Pricing Template. 

Optional: From the drop-down, set the Default Pricing Template for a certain day OR Apply the Pricing Template for a range of days.
