Adding a Virtual Register

Virtual Registers can be used for staff who carry their own cash float. Using the virtual registers will allow for individual sale and gratuity reporting for each server. They are generally used for servers in Food and Beverage.

 

If you are unsure if virtual registers are the right fit for your club and interested in learning more and using virtual registers please call Tee On support at 519-434-7877 Ex. 1. 

  1. Click Admin   
  2. Click Registers
  3. Click Add Virtual Register
  4. Select Staff Member or Beverage Cart as the type of virtual register.
  5. Type in the Name for the virtual register (this will appear on reports).
  6. For Staff Member registers, click Set Member.
  7. Select the Staff Member you are adding the virtual register for from the list and click Ok
  8. Click Ok

Once the virtual register has been added you will see it included in the list of registers within your POS system. 

 

Now, when this staff member, Brittany Server, logs in they will be logging into their own register regardless of the computer station they log in on. Transactions that this staff member completes will be included on their register's reports - not the physical register.

 

In some cases, such as for managers that may be working in the proshop and restaurant, you may choose to set them up with two separate profiles - one that is attached to a virtual register for when they are working in the restaurant and one that isn't for when they are working in the proshop.
