Adding a Membership Item to the Online Store

Online membership items are created by choosing an item set up on the Tee On Point of Sale and setting the customer type to associate with this item. The SKU, price and taxes of online membership items are obtained from the Tee On POS and cannot be changed. To update online membership items with changes made on the Tee On POS use the refresh item function.

  1. From your online tee sheet, click Administration.
  2. Click Online Store
  3. Click Membership Item Setup
  4. Click Add         
  5. New items are created by choosing an item from the Tee On Point of Sale and setting any online options.
  6. Your Point of Sale server computer must be up and running, in order for you to access the items to add a membership item in the online store. If it's not up and running, you won't be able to access your membership items. 
  7. You can Browse for Items - Browse for Items allows you to browse your departments for the item. 
  8. You can Search for Items - Search for Items allows you to search by Item Name or SKU of the item.  
  9. Click on the Membership Item you want to add. 
  10. Choose the type of member you would like the customer to be when they buy this Item, by clicking Choose Customer Type.  
  11. If this membership has an expiry date, click the No Expiry Date button, and select the date you would like the membership to expire. If you want to clear the expiry date, click Clear Expiry Date
  12. You can include a description of the membership item by clicking inside of the description box, and typing in the description for this item.
  13. To attach an image of the item, click Upload Image and search for the image. 
  14. To send a custom email to the customer when they purchase this membership item, check off Send custom email on purchase. Click inside of the text box and type out your message. You may also send attachments when they purchase this membership item. To send an attachment in the email, click Browse... and find the file you would like to attach.   
  15. If you want the item to be available for sale, make sure the box that says Available for Sale is checked off. If you want this membership item to be available for sale during a specific date range, click on the box that says "Available for sale during a specific date range", and choose the start and end dates by clicking on the buttons and selecting the dates. 
  16. To attach a form, click on the drop down that says "Choose the required formand select the form to attach to this membership item. 
  17. Click Save
